One of the most beautiful valleys of Huesca is without a doubt the Fact Valley, where the circular route through the Ibón de Acherito is one of the most requested by hikers who access this somewhat depopulated corner of the Pyrenees. For us, the Valle del Hecho is an ideal place to escape from the city and enter a more accessible but at the same time demanding Pyrenees, since we are talking about peaks that do not reach 3,000m but with very, very interesting slopes.

The exit starts along the stream that goes down the Foyas Ravine, taking the path that borders the right bank. From the beginning you can see the unevenness, which although they start from 1,200m high, you have to take into account that if you carry weight, they wait for you about 4km to reach the lake, about 1,850m high.

You can camp next to the Ibón de Acherito only when the night comes and by law you have to remove the tent just after dawn, since the ibón is relatively close from the starting point of the route. We spent the night there, under a starry sky and in total solitude, and that was the month of August.

Ibón is at the highest point of this circular route. The descent down the path that leaves the lake is a real postcard, as you see peaks like the Acherito Mesh of 2,374m. The route of descent has no loss, since although there are several trails you have to go in the direction of a cabin where they tend to graze cows in the area. Next to her, and especially during the descent, it is easy to see marmots warning each other of the presence of walkers, a wonder to see wildlife in the Pyrenees.
